Updated at: 0508 PST, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 NEW DELHI: A report obtained from an economic survey said the trade between India and Pakistan may likely go down by 60percent by the end of March 2010 particularly, in view of Mumbai mayhem on 26/11, 2008.The officials from India and Pakistan, participating in ongoing Indo-Pak peace dialogue here, have urged upon promotion of trade between two neighbours for strengthening of ties necessary for the peace and stability of region, Geo news reported Monday. According to details, Pakistan’s economic expert Akbar Zaidi addressing the peace conference, said trade has always worked as a strong bridge for maintenance of peace between various nations. Two countries should allow continued exchange of trade howsoever may be the ties, he added. Meanwhile, Indian economic expert and former Foreign Secretary Muchkund Dubey, said in his address, trade brings communities, nations and people closer and closer and ultimately dispensing peace to them simultaneously.
