| Governor Sindh calls meeting of coalition parties |
Updated at: 2320 PST, Saturday, January 09, 2010 KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has called a meeting of ruling parties as the tension mounted between the PPP and MQM due to current wave of target killings in Karachi. According to sources, the meeting will take place at the Governor House on Sunday. It may be reminded that the meeting has been called in the backdrop of harsh statements exchanged by the leaders of PPP and MQM against each other. Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also stopped PPP’s ministers from giving statements against the MQM. |
