Federal govt to rehabilitate terror hit areas: PM PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani Thursday said that the Federal Government will bear all the expenses on the development of insurgency affected areas besides rehabilitation of the people.

Addressing a gathering at NWFP Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Premeir announced waiver of all the small loans of Buner, Swat and Malakand besides announcing incentives for the industrial units of NWFP.

He said the Federal Government has released funds amounting to Rs17 billion for Malakand Division.

The Prime Minister said the terror-hit areas of have been divided in three categories. The first category includes people who have suffered major losses.

He said sales tax payable by factories falling in category A has been waived while the government has already announced Rs56 million for the victims of Peshawar Meena Bazar. He announced Rs50 million for the Shuhada Trust.

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said a CRC canal will be built in Dera Ismail Khan while Rs2.66 billion loans of small farmers will be waived.

He said the entire nation is standing against terrorism as an iron wall. No war can be won without the public support, he added.

The Premier thanked the security forces and all others for playing significant role in the ongoing war against terrorism.
