| Fourth tranche of IMF loan on Dec 28: SBP |
Updated at: 1743 PST, Thursday, December 24, 2009 DUBAI: The State Bank of Pakistan has said that the fourth trance of International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan will be received on December 28.Syed Wasimuddin, SBP spokesman told Geo news the amount of the 4th tranche approved by IMF at its board of directors meeting will be deposited in Pakistan’s account on December 28. He said 800 million dollars will be for Standby Program while 400 million dollars for Budgetary Support. The fourth tranche will bring the total financial assistance from IMF to 6.54 billion dollars. After receipt of the fourth tranche the total foreign exchange reserves will add up to 14.74 billion dollars. |
