Players hold indoor practice due to Hobart rainHOBART: The players of national cricket team Friday held an indoor practice session due to rain in Hobart before their three-day counter against Australian team Tasmania, their first on the Australian tour, Geo news reported. The manager Pakistan team Abdul Raqeeb told Geo news, players are hopeful of commencement of Australian tour in positive sense. Skipper Muhammed Yousuf and fast bowlers Muhammed Asif, Muhammed Aamir are expected to take rest in side match, but however, the final decision, of their exclusion from practice match squad, rests solely with team meeting, he said. Newly elected bowling coach former Test captain Waqar Younis has kicked off his responsibilities from today (Friday) here in Australia, he added. Pakistan team will hopefully put up good show in every department, he concluded. |
