| Minor girl killed in Islamabad suicide attack |
Updated at: 0253 PST, Friday, December 25, 2009 ISLAMABAD: A minor girl was killed while two other persons were injured including a policeman during a suicide attack occurred in Shakrial locality here in federal capital on Thursday, Geo news reported.According to police sources, the suicide attack took place while a religious gathering at the court of Sain Boota was in progress and a suicide bomber tried to gain entrance into but however, he was intercepted by Islamabad police at ‘Walkthrough’ gate. Consequently, he detonated himself, killing a young girl Urooj aged 6 years and injuring two more persons including a police head constable by the name Ittefaq, sources said. The suicide jacket of bomber partially exploded, police claimed. |
