Updated at: 2201 PST, Monday, December 21, 2009 LAHORE: Governor Punjab Salman Taseer Monday said that Shahbaz Sharif continues to serve as Punjab Chief Minister because of the court’s stay order, demanding proceeding of the latter’s case to be taken up.He said the verdict on National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) by the Supreme Court should not have directed for speedy disposal of the cases. The apex court should only have talked about declaring the NRO null and void, he added. |
